Free Download Manager can monitor your browser clicks. When you click the link to a file you want to be downloaded, FDM catches the download. It automatically opens the Add A New File Download dialog box.
FDM behavior differs upon integration with different browsers.
1.In Opera FDM will catch clicks on all archives, exe, audio and video files. You can't specify the file extensions to download; you can't use the ALT key either.
2.In Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, right-clicking a link opens a context menu containing items Download all with Free Download Manager , Download selected with Free Download Manager and Download video with Free Download Manager. Menu item Download Web site with Free Download Manager is available in the Web-page context menu.
Free Download Manager can also monitor the clipboard state. When a web address is being copied to the clipboard, FDM opens the Add A New File Download dialog box. You can adjust browser and clipboard monitoring at the Monitoring tab of the Download Options dialog box.
You can change the browser integration parameters and customize the context-menu items in the Monitoring tab of the Download Options dialog box.
